Scholastic Book Clubs has been in existence for close to a century and they have served schools and families since 1948. They majorly provide the right books which are affordable for kids. All these books are carefully selected by teachers and reading experts.
To enhance learning the Book Clubs supports teachers with a lot of book and resources for the classroom and all of them comes free of charge. They help kids around the globe, particularly those in UK and Europe to discover the pleasure and power of reading each month.
This learning platform works in a different way when compared with other similar learning websites. Teachers can register with Book Clubs and this registration comes for free.
You can create an account online as a teacher at scholastic.com/bookclubs or by calling Customer Service at 1-800-SCHOLASTIC (1-800-724-6527). After your registration as a teacher, you can then set up online ordering for their classroom.
Every month Scholastic will send emails to teachers flyers filled with books. All the books sent are just right for the grades you teach, you can as well send these books home with students.
Teachers can as well set a class due date for ordering each month while parents can submit their Child’s Book Club order. If you are a teacher, you have to make payment online if you have an online account or you can perform this task by returning the paper order form along with a check made out to “Scholastic Book Clubs” to the teacher.

Also, teachers can submit a class order to Scholastic Book Clubs online and that can be done by mail, fax, or phone. Note that book orders are sent directly to the classroom. If you are a teacher then you have to distribute the books to the different students who placed an order so that they can take them home and keep.
Teachers can earn bonus with each class order, not just that, they can as well earn Bonus Points and other rewards that can be used for free Books and other classroom resources. If you need more information about Scholastic Book Clubs, please visit their website at scholastic.com/bookclubs.
Parents can be able to place book clubs through a teacher on this platform. This is because they purchase rights from other publishers in UK and beyond and publish those books in their platform.
So far, they have been able to purchase and as well produce affordable products that are only available for distribution in the school market. What that means that all orders are placed through the teacher and are delivered directly to the classroom and not outside.
Additionally, you can help earn free books and resources for your child’s classroom. Teachers earn Bonus Points for free Books and also quality teaching resources for the classroom With every class order. Some of these resources include books, curriculum guides, as also computers and iPads.
But if you fancy using Scholastic Book Clubs and your Child’s Teacher doesn’t use or participate in the platform, then let the teacher know you’re interested in purchasing books through Scholastic Book Clubs for your child. You can share the Book Clubs web address with the teacher, this will let him or she learn more. So go to scholastic.com/bookclubs to share your Bookclub we address with the teacher.
Another feature of this is that it enables you to place Orders with Another Teacher at the School and that becomes pertinent if your child’s teacher is not interested in participating in Book Clubs, another reason for this is when he/she does not have another teacher or administrator to recommend.
All you need is to use the online services on this website and you will get all you crave for. With a teachers tool, you can see if there are other school administrators or teachers in your school who are willing to accept and submit your orders. Here’s are the steps to get started:
1. First of all, go to scholastic.com/bookclubs and tap on ‘Get Started’ button. This button is written below the ‘parent’ menu
2. Then ‘the connect to Teacher window’ will open. On the page look for Don’t Have a Code? and tap on Find Your Teacher. You can search by state and city to find your school and teacher name, you may also use the school zip code to search
3. But if the name of your child’s teacher is not in the list given on the page then you have to click the Can’t find your teacher?
4. Go down and look out for other participating volunteers, administrators or teachers at your school. When you find someone, click Connect. But if no one is listed from your school then it means that no one is available to accept Book Clubs orders
It is important to state that Homeschools Use Book Clubs but before you can do this, you need to set up Book Club accounts for homeschools. In order to set up the book club account, you have to contact one of their Account Verification Agents at 1-800-497-8291 to verify your eligibility.
While registering, you will be asked for the following information: Your full name, School name, School address, including zip code, School telephone number
Grade range and finally number of children being homeschooled. Note that once your homeschool account is fully set up or established, other parents must have your Class Code to place orders through you.
